Marcus is an award-winning TV writer/director who is equally happy creating short-form advertising work.

Marcus started directing in Television for the BBC and won the International Emmy in 2007. He wrote and directed the Adele prank for the BBC in 2016 ‘When Adele Wasn’t Adele but was Jenny’ which went viral. It has over 72 million views on YouTube. The most hits a single BBC film has ever received.

He has recently signed for Dark Energy Films in the UK for UK representation.

Recent TVC commercials are a series of two for Greene King IPA and Grey with Rugby and Cricket super stars in real life situations. Plus one TVC for Kelloggs #theperfectbowl campaign for Leo Burnett.

His last commercial job in the U.S. was directing a live stunt for Google in San Francisco. He filmed fans at Super Bowl watching the game live on their Google Nest cameras.

Marcus was nominated for the British Arrows in 2016 for Andrex / Unicef’s “The Bathroom Store” with JWT.
